TMK 400 Tree Shear

The TMK 400 tree shear meets professional forest management needs and can efficiently carry out tasks such as removing large problem trees. If you want to handle big trees safely, the TMK 400 is just what you need. Due to the efficient and durable blade, cuts up to 400 mm trees, available with two different main cylinder options. The patented TMK Turbo cylinder increases the work efficiency up to 15%.

The TMK 400 is the largest shear in the TMK range and was originally developed for forestry work in Central Europe where the trees are bigger and harder than in Finland. The TMK 400 is powered by cylinders specially designed for it, enabling the shear to easily cut trees up to 400 mm in diameter.

WHY THE TMK 400 ?

The TMK 400 shear can open to a width of up to 1,070 mm. The strong capsular structure can withstand the twisting force of even the largest trunks, while keeping the weight of the shear below 620 kg.

Thanks to its relatively light weight the TMK 400 is excellent for clearing both smaller brushwood and larger sawlogs. The 15 mm blade of the shear is made of extremely durable Hardox 500 steel. The recommended working pressure is 220–320 bar, depending on the cylinder.

The efficient optional attachments make sure that the TMK 400 compliments specifically your needs perfectly. And when the needs grow with your work, the shear can grow with you by adding features also later on. The blade is high quality Hardox 500 steel and with fixed design it will last being only 15 mm thick.

The splitting blade makes it easy to break felled trees, when split the timber dries better, and the splitting blade enables you to do this while using the tree shear.
