The blade is high quality Hardox 500 steel and with fixed design it will last being 15 mm thick with the Next-GEN model. This way the blade slices better into the tree and can still withstand heavy work. The shear frame is made out of Hardox 400 steel, so also there we get a peace of mind with Hardox. What Are The TMK 300’s Capacities?
Up to 300 mm softwood and 250 mm hardwood trees can be cut comfortably. Combined with the Collector the small brush can also be cut and collected efficiently. The BrushGrapple attachment allows for a clean cut even on the smallest of twigs!
What Makes The 300 Demand So High?
The TMK 300 fits widely to the most common sized machines and the optional attachment portfolio is extremely comprehensive, this shear fits 5.5-20 tonne machines. The structure is in true TMK fashion modular.
CYLINDER OPTIONS
The versatile main Cylinder Options on the TMK Tree Shear allow you to adapt the shear to your existing machine, both in terms of cutting power and operating speed. Because of various cylinder options, the shear can be connected to just about any machine.
The same cylinder options are available for both the TMK 200/300 models with three different Cylinder options.
Bigger Cylinder
Our standard Cylinder Option here in the UK, operating on a lower pressure then the “TMK Standard Cylinder”

HD Cylinder
The HD ( Heavy Duty ) Cylinder is a powerhouse for small machines in particular. When a big tree needs to be cut with limited pressure, the HD cylinder is just what you need, working on a lower pressure when compared with the other available Cylinder Options

RECOMMENDED FLOW : 100 – 150lpm
Turbo Cylinder
TMK Turbo is a patented cylinder consisting of a smaller cylinder inside a bigger one. The smaller cylinder is always activated first, and the bigger one only if there is not enough power. This arrangement harnesses the speed of the small cylinder and the power of the large cylinder.

The Collector / Accumilator
The simple operation of the Collector enables quick and easy operation, for example when thinning a young forest. With the Collector, you can cut and collect thin trunks without having to lift the boom after each cut, turn the machine and drop a small trunk into a pile individually. Now with two different control options “Easy Control” & “Full Control“
The Brush Grapple
Allowing you to cut even the smallest trees neatly. An additional blade welded at the bottom of the grapple is sharpened on one side only, and it eliminates the gap between the grapple and the blade. As a result, the cutting motion becomes more scissor-like and even the most flexible twigs, such as small willows.
