- TMK’s latest product is the TMK 150 can be used even with smaller excavators or forest loaders.
- Fitted on an excavator weighing just 85 kg without a bracket. This powerhouse weighing just 85 kg, can easily cut trees 150 mm in diameter.

- The compact size & expert design make the TMK 200 the optimal tree shear for forest loaders, tractors, agricultural loaders or mini loaders, as well as small excavators.
- The TMK 200 is the perfect solution for a slightly smaller machine. Despite its affordable price and compact size, the TMK 200 is a high-performance shear. The TMK 200 uses the same cutting cylinder as the TMK 300 therefore there is no compromise on cutting power.

If you want to handle big trees safely, the TMK 400 is just what you need. Due to the efficient and durable blade, cuts up to 400 mm trees, available with two different main cylinder options. Patented, the TMK Turbo cylinder increases the work efficiency up to 15%.
- TMK 400 shears can open to a width of up to 1,070 mm. The strong capsular structure can withstand the twisting force of even the largest trunks

Lets talk machines, below we go though a few off the different TMK Tree Shear model offerings available and what machines they are suitable for to help you distinguish the right shear for your machine.
What Machines / Excavators Can I Use A Tree Shear On?
Well, TMK Tree Shears have 5 model offerings, the TMK 150, 200, 250, 300 & 400 Tree shears, the full range covers machines from 1 tonne up to 30 tonne, not just this TMK Tree Shears are also able to be used on an array of machines such as Tractors, mini loaders, skid steers, tele-handlers along with forwarder or big forest loader with the hanging options ( H Series. )
Smallest of the models, the TMK 150 Tree Shear is rated from 1 – 2 tonne for machines and is also compatible with forest loaders with the hanging linkage.
Suitable for slightly smaller excavators, the TMK 200 Tree Shear suits machines ranging from 2 – 8 tonne. It can also be used on forest loader or forwarder thanks to the hanging linkage.
The TMK 250 Tree Shear is only suitable for forwarders or big forest loaders, and is only available with the Hanging Tilt.
Suitable for Excavators, the TMK 300 Tree Shear is the original of its design, rated for 5 – 20 machines along with tele handlers & loaders.
Largest of the options, the TMK 400 Tree Shear is only suitable for excavators from 10 – 30 tonne.
What do you require on your machine?
You will require a duel acting circuit on you machine in order to operate the tree shear as standard, once we are aware of the make and model of your machine and you have confirmed that a duel acting circuit is present we are then able to find the all the relevant spec on your machine and suggest the best cylinder setup to suit! The unique thing about the TMK Tree Shear is that there is the offering of the different cylinder options depending on the flow and pressures of your machine, TMK offer the HD Cylinder for cutting big trees with limited pressure. The patterned TMK Turbo Cylinder consisting of a smaller cylinder inside a bigger one the smaller cylinder is always activated first, and the bigger one only if there is not enough power, the TMK Turbo Cylinder can increase work efficiency by up to 15%!

I have A Hammer Line On My Machine, Does That Mean Its Double Acting?
Not necessarily, some machines do not have double acting hydraulics as standard. Double acting is where you can pressurise both hydraulic lines going down your boom. On the machines which do have double acting, there will be a switch in the cab or a leaver on the hydraulic valve block, quite often accompanied with a drawing of a breaker or a grab to denote what is single acting or double acting. You will require Duel Acting Hydraulics in order to operate the TMK Tree shear on your machine.
